Pre-Conference Workshop: From Insight to Impact: Strategic Market Research & Business Development for AEC Marketers

AEC marketing professionals often find themselves reacting to market changes rather than driving them. This interactive, half-day workshop—led by industry experts Ying Liu and Chad Clinehens—will empower attendees with a strategic, intentional approach to market research and business development. Participants will gain hands-on experience using real-world frameworks, tools, and exercises to identify and pursue high-value opportunities, align firm strategy with client needs, and position themselves as essential business drivers.

Through case studies, collaborative exercises, and structured planning, attendees will walk away with an actionable framework tailored to their firm’s growth strategy—ready to implement immediately. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or new to the industry, this session will provide the knowledge, skills, and confidence to elevate your business development game.

This workshop is separate ticketed event held from 1:00pm to 4:15pm before the welcome reception Wednesday evening at 5:00pm.

Cancellation Policy

Under no circumstances will MVRC 2026 refund your registration fee if you choose to cancel your attendance to any event. However, you can transfer your spot to another person who can attend in your place. Transfer ticket cost must be of equal or lesser value. To transfer your ticket, email Megan Hinrichsen, Registration Chair, at mhinrichsen@development-strategies.com.
